De Amsterdamse singer-songwriter Savine schrijft al sinds haar veertiende haar eigen muziek, geïnspireerd door grote namen als Adele, Corinne Bailey Rae, Macy Gray, Norah Jones en Amy Winehouse. In haar nummers combineert Savine soul, jazz en blues met elementen van pop. Haar rauwe stem ademt soul en zorgt voor een eigen, herkenbaar geluid.
Voordat ze piano ging spelen en haar eigen nummers begon te schrijven, speelde Savine zeven jaar viool. In 2019, na het afronden van haar rechtenstudie, verhuisde ze uit liefde en passie voor muziek naar Londen om een jaar te studeren aan BIMM, met een focus op soul, pop en R&B. Tijdens haar tijd in Londen trad Savine op in bekende pubs en clubs en stond ze op grote muziekpodia. Na haar terugkeer in Amsterdam bracht ze haar debuutsingle Never Compare uit, die werd uitgeroepen tot de allereerste Top Song van 2021 door Radio 2 en veel support kreeg van nationale radiostations. Sindsdien heeft Savine niet stilgezeten. In juli 2021 tekende ze een platencontract bij muzieklabel Cloud 9 Music. Haar singles 25 en What a Life werden goed ontvangen door zowel radio als Spotify-publiek, terwijl London, Tokyo meerdere radio-awards in de wacht sleepte.
In 2023 verkochten Savine en haar band meerdere shows uit op gerenommeerde Nederlandse podia, waaronder Paradiso. Met meer dan 16 miljoen streams op Spotify, airplay op nationale en internationale radio en een sterke live-reputatie, zetten Savine en haar band grote stappen. In 2025 verbleef Savine in Ierland, waar ze werkte aan nieuwe muziek en optrad in bekende venues en pubs in en rondom Galway, dat vaak wordt gezien als de muzikale hoofdstad van Ierland.
Afgelopen juli keerde ze terug naar haar thuisstad Amsterdam en in augustus bracht ze haar nieuwe single A Way With My Heart uit. Radio Veronica koos het nummer als hun wekelijkse ‘Clublied’ en ook veel andere stations ondersteunden de single. Het nummer heeft inmiddels meer dan een miljoen streams behaald.
De clubtour van de band afgelopen oktober was een feestelijke comeback, in het teken van de Little Black Dress EP. Deze zomer is de band op verschillende festivals te zien en in oktober 2026 keren ze terug naar de clubs.
Savine, an Amsterdam-based singer-songwriter, has been writing her own music since the age of 14, inspired by big names such as Adele, Corinne Bailey Rae, Macy Gray, Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse. In her songs, she combines soul, jazz and blues with elements of pop. Her raw voice carries a deep sense of soul and creates a distinctive, original sound.
Before she started playing the piano and writing her own songs, Savine played the violin for seven years. In 2019, after finishing her law studies, she moved to London to study for a year at BIMM, majoring in soul, pop and R&B. During her time in London, Savine performed in well-known pubs and clubs and appeared on major music stages.
After returning to Amsterdam, she released her debut single Never Compare, which was crowned the very first Top Song of 2021 by Radio 2 and received strong support from national radio stations. Since then, Savine has continued to build momentum. In July 2021, she signed a record deal with music label Cloud 9 Music. Her singles 25 and What a Life were well received by both radio and Spotify audiences, while London, Tokyo earned multiple radio awards.
In 2023, Savine and her band sold out several shows at renowned Dutch venues, including Paradiso. With over 24 million streams on Spotify, airplay on national and international radio, and a strong reputation for captivating live performances, Savine and her band are making impressive strides.
This year, Savine spent time in Ireland, where she worked on new music and played gigs in well-known venues and pubs in and around Galway, often referred to as the musical capital of Ireland. She returned to her hometown of Amsterdam last July and released her new single A Way With My Heart in August. Radio Veronica chose the track as their weekly ‘Clublied’, and many other stations supported the single. The band’s club tour last October was a welcome comeback, themed around the Little Black Dress EP.
Over the summer, the band will play several festivals, and in October 2026 they will return to the clubs.
